Description
Z Trowel-Slick is a ready to use surface lubricant which allows for easier concrete finishing. For veteran finishers, it allows for great finishing with far less labor. For novices, it allows you to finish like a pro. Trowel-Slick is ideal for concrete countertop finishing.
COVERAGE: Approximately 50 - 75 sq. ft. per quart.
DIRECTIONS: Before use, shake well and pour Z Trowel-Slick from this container into a spray bottle. Screed and float the concrete as normal. Once the concrete has set up and is ready for a steel trowel finish, lightly mist the concrete and/or the bottom of the steel trowel with Trowel-Slick. Proceed to trowel the concrete as normal. Trowel-Slick allows the trowel to slide effortlessly over the treated surface, reducing tensile stress and eliminating unevenness and poor surface texture. The residue left becomes integrally bonded with the hardened concrete surface and does not impair bonding or alter the final surface color. Trowel-Slick has no effect on the concrete hydration process, early and final concrete strength, abrasion resistance, or surface durability.
CAUTIONS: Z Trowel-Slick is not to be considered as a curing compound. Concrete treated with this product must be cured per ACI recommendation guidelines. Trowel-Slick will not alter the effectiveness of membrane type curing or sealing compounds. Do not use to facilitate easier finishing of cementitious dry shake surface hardeners or toppings after they have begun to take initial set. Keep from freezing. If frozen, loosen cap and allow solution to thaw completely. Shake well for two minutes before use.

- Most packages ship Standard Ground (UPS or FedEx) from one or more of our shipping locations. Some small products may ship USPS. Large orders may ship with a freight carrier. Please be aware that your order may be shipping from different locations at different times.
- Ground orders usually ship within 2-3 business days. Processing time for weekend orders will begin on the following Monday. Expedited orders will same day if placed before 1pm Eastern. Saturday, Sunday and Holidays DO NOT count as shipping days (ie. a Next Day Air Order placed on Friday will not be delivered until the following Monday
- Please THOROUGHLY inspect your packages as soon as they are delivered for damage or missing items. If any items in your shipment are damaged or missing please contact us at 570-587-3799 immediately to take care of replacements. Replacements will ship via Standard Ground.

"Hi quality masonry work is truly an acquired skill. I went through a few C.C.S. cement slabs before I became skilled enough to build a Marble/Granite comparable C.C.S. slab. Among the acquired tricks of this trade was using this product and using it properly. Don't overuse this product. Don't underuse this product. Don't overwork the top of the slabs. Let the slabs sit untouched for their drying periods to allow the chemical reaction of the cement hydration process to occur and bring the creamy cement to the surface. Then trowel appropriately using this product properly."

Q&A
- Can you overhang on the counter top for a bar top?
- You can do up to a 12" overhang without any additional support or reinforcement. All you will do is let your cement board overhang the cabinets. Remember the form will add another 1-1/2" of overhang. You will need to temporarily support the cement board so it does not flex or crack under the weight of the wet concrete. To do this, we will usually just use some 2x4 legs. They should stay in for 2-3 days while the concrete sets up.
