Water Based Epoxy Sealer
Z Aqua-Poxy is a 2 part water based epoxy for concrete floors and countertops. Z Aqua-Poxy offers the protection of a traditional epoxy with the ease of application of a water based sealer. It is simple to apply and may be used as a medium gloss finish with little to no incidental darkening. Z Aqua-Poxy goes on thin and can be built up to a traditional epoxy thickness by applying 2-3 coats. It can also be used as a primer coat for any number of other desired coatings such as Ultra Z Poxy. By using Z Aqua-Poxy as a primer, you will eliminate the darkening that occurs with Ultra Z Poxy or other traditional epoxies. Detailed instructions included on the bottle. 100% countertop safe.
Not intended for outdoor use.
Includes 2 Quarts. Will cover approx. 75-100 Sq. Ft. @ 2-3 coats
Note: For a thicker application more coats can be applied. A light sanding must be done between each coat. You can also apply the epoxy in thicker coats by gauging and floating it it with one of our applicator pads rather than rolling it on.
**Avoid sticking tape to sealed concrete. Chemical bonds can form between glue and sealer which can be strong enough to pull off sealer and stain. If this happens, these areas can normally be sanded and spot fixed**

"This product was easy apply and looks great."
"I wouldn’t used this stuff again or waste my money. It’s not durable, and chips easy. The second part of the epoxy didn’t last 6 months in its bottle in a temperature controlled environment before hardening up and now useless. So that was pretty much a waste of money since I planned on doing more countertops in my rentals but now I won’t be using anything from CCS going forward except their forms."
"I made, I think, every mistake a person can make when making concrete counter tops! Long story short, I ended up grinding down the waves I made from screeding. Then little holes started showing up. I called support, learned the Z SiAcryl 14 I planed on using before my mistake will not seal the type of holes I had. But this product z Aqua Poxy does get into the holes and seals. I ended up creating streaks. (my countertops are so large, (4x10 ) the sealer began to set before I could roll the opposite way. ) I was able to sand paper that out after I learned that because they are so large, it took the sealer longer to dry. (Tom is an awesome support. I should’ve just asked in the first place to avoid all these mistakes ) so after letting it dry completely for three days and light sanding, with two people rolling only one direction leaving no marks (took less than 5 min), we were able to apply a beautiful coat. After three more coats, I am so happy with the results. thank you Z countertops for saving my countertops from the sledgehammer."
"Love the finish. Easy to work with. Minimal odor."
"FINALLY I got someone from your company who listened. Erica Alderman was amazing! She listened, responded quickly, followed up, and did I mention responded quickly? I have a lot to say about how hard it was for me to get what I needed after your 'help guys' just kept recommending sealer, WHICH I HAD ALREADY TOLD THEM WASNT GIVING ME THE SHINE AND DURABILITY!! I was so frustrated. . . Now, after Erica i got the help and product that makes my cartons beautiful and usable. Sealer was not practical alone as it was dull and so easily scratched. Here's the end result. Thank you Erica. Please give her a monthy bonus for doing more than the 3 males I spoke to over 3 years I struggled."
"I had much higher expectations of this product based on the description, price, and recommendation given by one of the employees. We have a textured countertop and had used the aqua thane (found many pinholes that’s didn’t seal) and proceeded to completely sand down and start from scratch. After purchasing the Z-Aqua Poxy and following every instruction from the technical data sheet perfectly, from prep to application-even verifying exact recoat time- the durability is AWFUL. We have had 5 chips within a month; which have exposed the concrete underneath and have allowed water to get through and seep below the surface of the sealant. This product went on nicely and looks nice but does not perform as it was promised. I can’t believe it’s marketed to last and frustrated to have spent so much time and money for this. Now I’m stuck between patching chips forever and hoping I catch it before something stains or start over again and going for a different brand with a better sealer. I’d recommend saving yourself the time and money and look elsewhere for sealants."
"Easy application I will use it again"
"This was a redo of our kitchen counters from 10 years ago. I used diamond wheels to sand and polish the old concrete that we originally used z-pozy on. Takes a lot of time to layer it on. Multiple days to add multiple layers. Also learned you can’t use mixed epoxy the next day or it turns opaque when it dries. Thai was an easy fix though as I lightly sanded and redid it with a freshly mixed batch. After 4-5 layers, it “looks good” but should be harder after 4-5 layers as it gouged and chipped too easily for me and wasn’t as durable as it was the first time around. Looking at the ultra z poxy to go over this so it will be more durable. Just watched a great video where the guy laid it don’t on plywood and made a couple of different stained and patterned countertops and an island. Just want durability."
"Went on fine three coats and has nice deep shine with a thick feel and look."
"I so regret not using a simple penetrating sealer… This so called 2part epoxy is chipping off from everyday use, It’s stupid! I do not recommend it! Not to mention the price is ridiculous! Thought I was using the best product out there. Wrong"
