Description

Diamond sanding pads that will attach to just about any 5" - 8 hole palm sander. Lasts longer and cuts better than any other "sand paper" on the market. These are electro-plated diamond pads (not diamonds in resin) so they do not require the high RPMs like most diamond polishing pads. Not for polishing, but will leave a smooth honed finish. Video below shows results. For dry sanding only.

Available in :

  • 60 grit - aggregate exposure, removing large imperfections, rounding sharp edges and corners
  • 120 grit - light aggregate exposure, removing minor imperfections, smoothing concrete
  • 200 grit - honing and smoothing concrete

Great for:

  • Light to medium aggregate exposures
  • Removing any rough areas and smoothing concrete
  • Smoothing out impressions and imperfections left from troweling
  • Removing any soft or spalling concrete left from over watering or a premature steel trowel finish
  • Removing most topical sealers and coatings

Deceptive advertising

"Web site said pack of three, price was for a single one. I would have mot ordered it at that price. A ceramic disc for that money performs much better and holds up. This disc is no good and way too much money for what it is. When I chatted with customer service they just defended the deceptive advertising. I"

Diamond disc pad

"These pads are definitely much longer lasting than the sandpaper. Don’t waste money on the sandpaper. Go for the diamond pads. They still fade sooner than I’d like, considering the price."

Q&A

About how many square feet can these things handle before needing to be replaced?
That depends so much on what exactly you are using them for. Are you sanding mostly smooth concrete to remove minor imperfections or are you grinding the concrete to do a heavier aggregate expose? Anyway, for moderate sanding on fairly smooth concrete, I would expect to get 100 - 200 sq. ft. out of a pad. For heavier grinding or sanding concrete that is really rough, you may only get 50 sq. ft. I hope that helps.
