Concrete Countertop Stain
1qt. (946ml) per bottle. Will cover approximately 75 - 100 sq. ft.
Z Aqua-Tint is a water soluble concrete dye formulated for use on concrete counter tops. It can be applied to polished, troweled or textured concrete. Z Aqua-Tint will duplicate the performance of solvent based dyes while eliminating the dangers of flammable solvents. When cured, Z Aqua-Tint exhibits the same long lasting beauty as traditional dyes. Z Aqua-Tint comes in a variety of colors that can be mixed to create nearly any desired tone. 100% countertop safe.
Will cover approximately 75 - 100 sq. ft.
WARNING: Colors may vary depending on concrete mixture initial color and the porosity of the concrete. It is important to always test on a sample piece or in an inconspicuous area to verify color before coating entire top. Samples were created with Z Counter-Pack mix and standard concrete mix sanded to 400 grit before applying Z Aqua-Tint. Two coats of Z SiAcryl 14 were then applied.

Have always used pigment coloring before, but I like this. More control/artful application. Final results look great!
Advantage with pigment is that you, the installer, knows in your mind that the color is true/through from surface to bottom. Truth is though is that no one ever sees 'into' the concrete, but only ever see the surface.
Why not just color the surface then.

This product was very easy to use and after three coats the color was pretty accurate to the color chart. The sanding of the concrete really seems to play a key role in how the product takes. We applied the sealer, but it wasn't as shiny as I wanted so today I ordered the polish and I'm sure that will do the trick. I did have to order a second bottle of the dye too as it didn't cover as much as we expected.

The video made it look easier than it was and my two color choices as shown on the video didn't blend as well as his. I like that you can dilute it to lighten the color and clean up was easy!!

Started off using concrete dye added directly to the mix but did not get the results we were looking for. After some searching, my wife found the concrete countertop stain. We wanted the ebony and it worked very well, in fact better than either one of us expected. The countertops now look the way we envisioned them.

Dries quickly and cleanup is a breeze. Multiple applications can be done in a short period of time. I do suggest however testing your color on a test piece of concrete as the color may differ from the web chart depending on your concrete. Ed was quick to help me find what I was looking for.

I did find that using white concrete would be better to achieve your colors you're trying to get I used grey, using their stain was a little different than the colors I wanted to achieve but I made it work and everything works like it should have!

Stain is very easy to apply. Garden was placed on our concrete and looks lighter green than Grass does. Will have to re-stain over it.

The Z- Aqua tint that we selected for our outdoor concrete countertop was very easy to use. The suggestion to apply with the roller and brush immediately after was a very important tip.
Once I applied the Z countertop sealer, the Mojave color really came to life. Many thanks to Ed for helping me over the phone to ensure that I "got it right the first time" before I started.

I had to strip a sealer off of a counter......the client asked if I could make the counter darker since I had the sealer off.... i got z aqua tint ebony and used it diluted until the client said she loved the new look.....then i put the new sealer on.
Problem solved.....easy to use and experiment with and great color.
